What's this?

The system is perfect how it is.


It drives conversation, makes people watch and pay attention and spend days discussing afterwards and then it's never mentioned again once the tournament begins.

If anything (other than contraction to 64 teams) ever changes about the selection process for the NCAA tournament, it will be to the detriment of the tournament.
